Napili Kai Foundation

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship Information

In 1986, the scope of the Foundation was expanded by the establishment of its unique, higher education scholarship fund.  Currently, there are 10 separate scholarship sources which are all segregated from the general program fund.

To date, these combined funds have provided over $372,000 to over 60 keiki (children) to help them pursue their career objectives.

Scholarships are awarded to graduating members of the Foundation and to the children of employees of Napili Kai Beach Resort who have demonstrated time and effort in support of the Foundation.  The scholarships are awarded yearly (in May) and may be applied toward tuition, books, and other expenses directly related to college and university programs.  This financial support is one of the special aspects that sets the Foundation apart from other hula programs.

Scholarship applications must be submitted by March 30th of each year and can be obtained from this website.

Following the first year of study, applicants may re-apply for up to four additional years of assistance, providing they maintain full-time status and minimum GPA requirements.
