J.C. MILLAR MEMORIAL Scholarship fund
Guidelines for applicants
PURPOSE: To provide financial aid to high school graduates who are seeking self-improvement through education.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be:
- A graduate of the Napili Kai Foundation; OR
- A child of an employee of the Napili Kai Beach Resort (5 years or more), who has consistently dedicated time and effort in support of the Napili Kai Foundation.
AMOUNT: The amount of the award will be determined by the scholarship committee.
OBJECTIVE: Grants are for tuition, books and other expenses related to college or university programs, and will be paid directly to the institution/college attended or to the applicant, as deemed appropriate by the committee.
DURATION: After the first year of study, awardees may re-apply for 3 additional consecutive years providing they meet the following criteria:
- Students are expected to carry and complete a full load of classes each semester
- The student will have achieved a GPA minimum of 2.0.
APPLICATION: The scholarship committee needs all the information requested on the application in order to make the best determination. Please answer all items and submit all the enclosures requested with your completed application no later than the deadline below.

No later than March 31st – There will be no grace periods.
Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
